The new version stars Hollyoaks actor Summer Strallen as Maria with Casualty’s Simon MacCorkindale alongside as Captain Von Trapp.

We all remember the movie and the site of Julie Andrews singing that signature tune as she danced over the hills. Well thanks to Andrew Lloyd Webber you can now experience this in a new version. It tells the story of Maria, a nun in Satlzberg, Austria. Whilst there she is the governess of seven children of the widower Captain Von Trapp. She then falls for him despite his engagement to a Baroness.
